This award recognizes an individual or entity that exemplifies: “Guidance, Support and Advocacy”, and has selflessly taken action toward helping our local communities be more informed, better places for all to enjoy, and welcoming for citizens of all abilities.
The Legacy Society Award
The Legacy Society Award is presented biennially to a New Hampshire citizen who has made a significant impact on public policy or public acceptance of individuals with disabilities. The recipient of this award has demonstrated the highest level of advocacy, over a prolonged period of time, resulting in stronger communities and better opportunities for people of all abilities.
The Kathleen Murphy Community Partnership Award
The Kathleen Murphy Community Partnership Award recognizes an individual whose leadership, actions and collaborative spirit have resulted in a stronger, more respectful sense of community and belonging for citizens of all abilities.
